The Bible tells us to Humble down ourselves before God.
Passage: James 4:10, I Peter 5:6

-Humbling down yourself does not mean that you go around and saying "Poor me, I'm nothing, I'm never going to be anything". That's self pity and thats not true humility.

-True Humility is measuring yourself against the right standard and knowing where you stand in relation to that standard.

-Pride is self-worship. It's not just feeling good about ourselves. Pride makes us Independent of God, so that we don't think we need Him. We think we are who we are because of what we have done.
Remember that we are the creation of God. We exist because of Him.

-Humbling down ourselves is like this:

"There was a manager of a famous department store who went to a restaurant to eat. He noticed that the area infront of him where he sits is messy. After that, he saw a very busy waitress. The waitress is so busy that she forgot to clean the area infront of the manager.

Instead of calling the busy waitress to clean the area infront of him because of the reason that he is the customer and also a manager of the said business, He denied his position as a customer and a manager and he cheerfully taken care of the mess infront of him and threw it in the trash with Humility in his heart. He even offered the busy waitress to help her in her duties.
But the waitress declined because of his position as a customer and a manager. But he said, this is just a title. All I wanted to do is to help you in your duties."

He can simply ask the busy waitress to clean the mess infront of him because he's a customer and a manager but he chose to deny his position and clean the mess and even helped the waitress to do her duties.

God loves to see us Christians, His Children to humble down to others whose level is lower than us. Instead of acting like a bigshot towards others because of what God has given to you, You deny yourself in order to help others.

And Remember, as said in James 4:10

"When you bow down before the Lord and admit your dependence on Him, he will lift you up and give you Honor."

As Jesus said to his disciples,

If you want to become the Greatest, you must become the least

And also, as stated in the Beatitudes:

Blessed are those who are Humble, For they will be given the earth

Pray to God. Request for him to help you become humble in every aspects of your life.

"Lord God, Thank you for this priviledge that you have given to me to study and meditate Your words. Lord God, I admit to myself that I'm weak and easily to be tempted. Lord God, please help me to become humble infront of you and to others as well. Do not let the enemy to have a stronghold in my heart and become prideful to You and to others. May Your name be Glorified in everything that I do, Lord."
